Running the saturation property model

You complete the Saturation Property Modeling workflow by using the Run Model form (model > Saturation > Saturation Property Modeling > Run Model).

The resultant saturation grid properties are read-only and created with the suffix of the saturation calculation method.    click to enlarge

The resultant saturation grid properties (Sw, So and Sg) are stored in the JewelExplorer under your saturation property model folder (3D Grids > Your 3D Grid > Properties > Your Saturation Property Model). The saturation grid properties are read-only and created with the suffix of the saturation calculation method. If needed, you can duplicate them via the context menu in the JewelExplorer and then edit via the Property Calculator. You can use these grid properties in volumetric calculations (model > Volumetrics > 3D Grid Properties).

If your saturation model is modeled with paleo zones, additional 3D grid properties are also stored in the saturation property model folder in the JewelExplorer. The additional 3D grid properties include initial water saturation at paleo times (Swi_Paleo), residual hydrocarbon saturation (Sr), and the depth where cell averaged water saturation equilibrium is obtained (Depth_SwAvg).

The resultant paleo saturation grid properties are read-only and created with the suffix of the saturation calculation method.    click to enlarge

To run your model

  1. On the Run Model form, select the saturation property model of interest from the Property model drop-down list.
  2. Click Apply to run the model and keep the form open, or click OK to run the model and close the form.
